I create abstract things with paintings, photography and sculpting clay.
To create my 2D and mixed media artwork I use offbeat elements like household items and foliage. I overwhelm the piece with excessive use of strokes and color. Minimalist work becomes a challenge I enjoy. My figurative work often deals with the woman's figure, faces and owls.
Abstract photography allows me to play in the streets with buildings, pipes and bridges. While digital photography is clever and immediate, analog photography produces a nostalgic image which I author, develop and print myself, making the photograph a personal and organic work of art.
Sculpting wearable art was a project intended to be temporary, but they turned out to be a popular item. The quirky and fun earrings are handmade in my home studio and while I produce seasonal items, for the most part, they're abstract and some asymmetric.
As an artist, I thank you for considering me and thank you for your support of the arts...any of them.
